We are pleased to announce a scientific collaboration agreement with the University of Chile. The agreement calls for the University of Chile and Stony Brook University to collaborate on the scientific and technical development of the Condor Array Telescope, which is to be located at the El Sauce Observatory in Chile. According to terms of the agreement, (1) the import of all materials and implements that are necessary for the construction, installation, and operation of the Condor Array Telescope will be subject to the benefits of law number 15.172, and (2) ten percent of the observation time of the Condor Array Telescope will be set aside each year for the use of Chilean astronomy.

We consider this agreement to be an important step in the development of the project, and we welcome our new collaborators at the University of Chile.
